Questions

What everyone asks.

Is my child's photo safe?

The photo is only used to generate your invitations and is deleted from our servers as soon as we deliver them. It's automatic and you get a message confirming it. We don't share it or use it for anything else.

What if I don't like any of the 4?

You get 4 different versions precisely so there's always one you'll love. If something's off, email us at hello@dearyou.ai and we'll fix it. Don't worry — you'll have truly unique invitations.

Are they really ready in 15 minutes?

Yes. As soon as you upload the photo and pick a universe, the assistant generates them right away. Usually it takes about 10 minutes; at peak times, up to 15.

Can I print them?

All 4 invitations (image + party details) are perfect for your phone, group texts, and social. If you also want the image in top quality to print big or frame, you can add the 4K version for +$2.50 in the chat. The 4K version is your little one's image at maximum resolution (without the event text).

How do I pay?

Inside the chat a button opens a secure Stripe screen. You pay by card and, when you return, the assistant continues with your order. We never see your card details.

Does it work with dogs and cats?

Not yet, pets are coming very soon. Right now we make invitations and birthday cards for kids.

Do I need to install anything?

Nothing. Everything happens right here, chatting with the assistant. No apps, no accounts, no wasted time.

3 simple steps

  1. Tap “Create my invitation” and tell our assistantIt walks you through it. Just say your kid's name, their age, where the party is and the day and time. We write the wording. No forms.
  2. Describe the party in your own words and upload their photoThere's no list to pick from. Tell it what you want in one sentence, “a pirate party on the beach”, and that's what you get. Stuck for ideas? It suggests some. Their photo is required, not optional: they're the one starring in the invitation. And we always delete it after delivery. Promise.
  3. You get them in 15 minutes4 unique designs, vertical and ready to share. Pick your favorite and keep all four.

The Halloween aisle went up in August, and your kid walked straight past the zombies to the unicorn costume. Decision made. It doesn't matter that unicorns aren't spooky. Nobody said an October birthday has to be.

These unicorn Halloween birthday invitations keep the horn and add the season: pumpkins, bats, a big moon. Six scene ideas below, then four designs where your kid is the one in the scene, with their name and age.

How a unicorn earns its spot at Halloween

Every October some kid on the block won't walk past the 12-foot skeleton in the neighbor's yard. That kid still wants Halloween, and a unicorn gets them there. Bat wings, a starry mane, a pumpkin patch, and underneath it's the same gentle animal printed on their pajamas.

It works from about four to ten, for different reasons. Little ones are in it for the sparkle. By third grade they want something with an edge, and a black unicorn under the moon has just enough of one.

A timing tip: a party on the 31st loses to trick-or-treating every time. The Saturday before gets the whole class.

Six unicorn scenes and who they suit

The unicorn with a candy horn in a pumpkin patch is the sweetest, right for a five- or six-year-old whose party is basically a candy table with guests. The black unicorn with a starry mane under the moon is for the eight-to-ten crowd that likes things a shade darker. The unicorn with bat wings over a purple rainbow throws everything in at once, which is exactly how a five-year-old would order it.

The unicorn tamer on Halloween is for the nine-year-old who wants to be in charge, unicorn at her side and no scares. The unicorn dressed as a ghost in the garden gets the laugh from anyone who has ever thrown a sheet over their head and called it a costume. And the unicorn ride through the orange-leaf forest is the most fall-looking of the six, for the seven-year-old who says unicorns are for little kids and keeps looking at this one anyway.

You don't have to go with any of them. Describe the party in a sentence and we build the scene around your kid, so we'll need a photo of them. And we always delete the photo after delivery. Promise.
