Questions

What everyone asks.

Is my child's photo safe?

The photo is only used to generate your invitations and is deleted from our servers as soon as we deliver them. It's automatic and you get a message confirming it. We don't share it or use it for anything else.

What if I don't like any of the 4?

You get 4 different versions precisely so there's always one you'll love. If something's off, email us at hello@dearyou.ai and we'll fix it. Don't worry — you'll have truly unique invitations.

Are they really ready in 15 minutes?

Yes. As soon as you upload the photo and pick a universe, the assistant generates them right away. Usually it takes about 10 minutes; at peak times, up to 15.

Can I print them?

All 4 invitations (image + party details) are perfect for your phone, group texts, and social. If you also want the image in top quality to print big or frame, you can add the 4K version for +$2.50 in the chat. The 4K version is your little one's image at maximum resolution (without the event text).

How do I pay?

Inside the chat a button opens a secure Stripe screen. You pay by card and, when you return, the assistant continues with your order. We never see your card details.

Does it work with dogs and cats?

Not yet, pets are coming very soon. Right now we make invitations and birthday cards for kids.

Do I need to install anything?

Nothing. Everything happens right here, chatting with the assistant. No apps, no accounts, no wasted time.

3 simple steps

  1. Tap “Create my invitation” and tell our assistantIt walks you through it. Just say your kid's name, their age, where the party is and the day and time. We write the wording. No forms.
  2. Describe the party in your own words and upload their photoThere's no list to pick from. Tell it what you want in one sentence, “a pirate party on the beach”, and that's what you get. Stuck for ideas? It suggests some. Their photo is required, not optional: they're the one starring in the invitation. And we always delete it after delivery. Promise.
  3. You get them in 15 minutes4 unique designs, vertical and ready to share. Pick your favorite and keep all four.

A costume party has a logistics problem none of the other themes have: you have to tell people. And you have to tell them early, because the parent who finds out the night before sends their kid in a bedsheet and an apology.

These costume party Halloween birthday invitations solve that from the picture. You see the kid in costume, as a fairy, a wizard or a little dragon, and the message arrives before anyone reads a word. Six designs here, and then four of your own with the name, the age and the heads-up built in.

Saying come in costume without it sounding like homework

The trick is in the wording. Costumes required reads like a test. Costumes optional gets you half a room in costume and the other half feeling out of place.

What works: come as whatever you'd like to be. It makes clear a costume is expected, obliges nobody, and gives an idea to the kid who doesn't have one yet.

And send it three weeks out, not two. Costumes get bought or made, and both take time.

Six ways to say dress up

The forest fairy is the sweetest, all fireflies and glitter wings, and a good fit for the little ones. The street sorcerer lifting cars into the air is the most spectacular, and the one that works best from ten up, when cute stops cutting it.

The wizard in the spell library is the classic costume: cape, pointed hat, a stack of spellbooks. The mummy at the museum is for the kid who'd rather discover a mummy than be one, so she goes as an explorer. The little dragon in the gem cave is the most adventurous. And the zombie at the party, between the pumpkins and the party banners, looks the most like the actual day.

They're ideas for anyone who doesn't know where to start. You describe yours in one sentence, with whatever costume your kid is wearing.
